fMindset is huge! Understand that yoga can be used as a “tool” for maintaining health. There are many “tools” we have available to us in modern life. Nutrition, positive thinking, gratitude, meditation, prayer, swimming, hiking, running, tai chi, reiki, pilates, chiropractics, physical therapy, massage, accupuncture, quality of sleep, walking, ice, earthing, tree therapy, etc…
Notice that surgery and prescription drugs are not on the above “tool” list? Those should only be used in rare circumstances, long after well-thought-out combinations of the above “tools” have been utilized fully.
The key for you is to decide which combination of “tools” you should utilize to optimize your life, for your well-being, also for the earth and all the people you come into contact with.
All “tools” serve a specific purpose or a combination of purposes.
Consider all the uses for a hammer or a screw driver! When your life journey guides you to use these tools, you start to see more ways to make use of a hammer and screw driver, and you naturally become more efficient at using them…not only separately, but together as well (like as a hammer/chisel).
Yoga is similar in that way. As you practice, you’ll begin to notice new ways to use the postures for your life. It is eye-opening and blissful to know you are dynamically improving your life through a simple practice. Long-time practicioners know that the benefits far outweigh the time commitment.

As we become more efficient at using these tools, we will notice new and improved tools to add to our collection. The human body is more amazing than any of us yet know. Let’s keep adding tools we can use!
This is a Collaboration! Everything you do and don’t do has an impact on your life. I can help guide you towards long lasting new habits that result in resilience!
